Job Type: 1099 – Direct Seller Compensation: Uncapped commission structure. Successful Design Consultants earn an average of $150,000–$250,000 in their first year, with top performers exceeding $300,000+ annually. What You’ll Do Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners and provide customized flooring solutions. Build trust quickly by understanding customer needs, lifestyle considerations, and project goals. Present curated product selections and design recommendations that help customers make confident decisions. Prepareaccuratemeasurements and project estimates. Educateand presentcustomerswithfinancing options and available promotions. Drive the sale from consultation to signed agreement, with the expectation of earning the customer’s business during theinitialappointment. Partner with internal teams to ensurea seamlesscustomer experience from sale to installation. Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals. What You’ll Bring High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. 2+ years of in-home sales, outside sales, or consultative sales experience. Proventrack recordof meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage your schedule and pipeline independently. Confidence in a one-call-close sales environment. Availability to work evenings and weekends when customers are most available. Ability to lift and move product samples and materials weighing up to 55 lbs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfortable traveling throughout an assigned market and managing a schedule that includes multiple in-home appointments per day.
