Warranty Administrator

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing warranty calls from multiple branches and departments across the organization to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Caterpillar warranty requirements and internal policies. This role serves as a quality control checkpoint for warranty transactions, validates supporting documentation, submits claims to Caterpillar, and manages warranty settlement processing, credits, and warranty-related purchasing activities. Starting Pay From $24.00/hour, based on location and experience. Responsibilities Warranty Claim Review and Processing Review warranty calls submitted by parts locations throughout the organization for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance. Validate information, failure details, and supporting documentation prior to claim submission. Identify discrepancies, missing information, or documentation gaps and coordinate corrections with parts personnel. Ensure warranty claims are filed within required timelines and in accordance with Caterpillar warranty guidelines. Submit approved warranty claims to Caterpillar through designated systems. Monitor claim status and respond to requests for additional information from Caterpillar representatives in a timely manner. Warranty Settlement Management Process warranty settlements received from Caterpillar and other manufacturers. Reconcile warranty payments against submitted claims and approved amounts. Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, shortages, deductions, or rejected claims. Ensure timely application of warranty credits and recoveries within company systems. Reporting and Communication Generate reports related to warranty submissions, recovery rates, pending claims, rejected claims, and settlement activity. Communicate claim status updates and recovery opportunities to parts personnel and management. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing warranty recovery and reducing claim rework. Why join Milton CAT?
