Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Quality Technician position available in the Brighton, Michigan area working at our client location who is an established manufacturer. This is a 2nd shift position, direct hire opportunity with a schedule of 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Pay rate is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. Seeking candidates who have experience in the injection mold industry. Duties for the Quality Technician Role Conduct hourly in process inspection of products and process parameters according to documented procedures Document and maintain the results of inspections Perform layered audits Perform off-line 100% inspection as required and product measurements using appropriate gauging equipment Assist with training production associates and support production operations as needed Maintain quality documentation Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrate proficiency with Pro Scan and a strong understanding of company quality standards and objectives Qualifications for the Quality Technician Role Injection mold industry experience, 1-2 years of experience required Prior experience in a manufacturing environment as production associate or inspector Experience using computers with common office programs Capable of completing required quality documentation Clear communication skills Training in SPC would be beneficial Ability to follow documented procedures and standards Ability to inspect parts visually or with various gages Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
