Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital

Employment Type: PRN / Per Diem

Primary Units: Med Surge

Pay Rate: $54-56 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling

Shift Availability: Varies

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements

Minimum 2-year RN experience

Ohio RN License required

BSN degree required or in progress
Must have 2 years of Peds Experience

Experience: Pediatric, burn, or medical-surgical background preferred.

Current BLS certification required

ACLS certification required

PALS certification preferred

Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

Nurse Patient Care: Deliver direct medical-surgical and ICU-level nursing care to pediatric patients.

Care Coordination: Manage patient transitions, plan nursing actions, and evaluate responses to treatment.

Education: Provide hands-on health education and support patients and their families.

Leadership: Act as a preceptor, support quality improvement initiatives, and mentor staff.
