divh2Material Control Specialist II/h2pThe Material Control Specialist II is responsible in organizing, monitoring ensuring the accuracy and importation of Engineering Supplier data into the Material Management System (MMS). They will assist with training and guiding Material Control Specialist 1s with established processes and to monitor progress with workload. Material Control Specialist IIs are assigned to mid, large, or mega cap projects. They will also lead data exchange meetings (for joint venture projects) and work with IT on Engineering Partner data curations./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliCurate Engineering and or Procurement data by assigning proper coding that align to company established standards to each component and upload into the Bills of Material and or Purchase Order/liliLead data exchange meetings with JV Partners (for joint venture projects)/liliWork with awarded suppliers to explain requirements of the Electronic Material list (EML)/liliMonitor Bill of Material health and report to management potential risks/errors found/liliWork with IT on Engineering Partner data curations/liliAssist with training and any support services for other Material Control Specialists/liliCoordinate with Engineering on a regular basis to determine requisition assignments and schedule/liliSupport project or projects assigned, including but not limited to; project site visits or temporary assignments at the project site/liliGenerate requisitions based on Engineering data and assign/submit to Procurement Coordinator within MMS/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulli1-3 years of Material Control or equivalent experience/liliStrong analytical skills working structured unstructured datasets/liliAbility to reason problem solve/liliAbove average skillset in Microsoft Excel/liliPreferred experience in Advanced Work Packaging/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/ppEmployee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Must be able to maneuver around a construction site with rough terrain. Climbing might be required. Must be able to lift 10 lbs. Position may include visits to construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots./ppWork Environment:/ppEmployee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites, noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking.
