About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:15 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, C-EFM Must-Have: - Local candidates allowed. - First-time travelers accepted. - Willing to discuss block scheduling during interview. - Floating required as needed within scope. - Weekends required every other weekend. - No call required. Description: Facility requirements include that locals are allowed. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The EMR system used is EPIC. The scheduling type is flexible, with emphasis on meeting patient care needs. Staffing and scheduling are designed to provide adequate coverage for all shifts. Orientation will involve 16 hours of training to prepare for assignment. Modules are required and can be completed during orientation or while on assignment. Modules must be recorded as directed. The work environment involves interdisciplinary support for patient care. Patient diagnoses will vary based on unit needs. Special procedures and equipment will be utilized in the course of care. Please be prepared to float as necessary within scope of practice.
