Installation Supervisor

Supportive Culture: Innovation, creativity, and teamwork. Essential Functions Attend job site weekly meetings. Supervise installers each day on the job site. Conduct toolbox talks. Produce daily reports on job sites. Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect quality of doors and hardware. Prep doors to receive hardware. Undercut doors with a skill saw to fit openings. Report any damaged products to supervisor. Remove rough spots from workpieces using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Examine workpieces for defects, measure with straightedges to ensure conformance with specifications. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required. Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Must be able to lift or carry 25–50 lbs. frequently. Experience using power tools, saws, drills, etc. Industry experience with installation of building materials (preferred). Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong math, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed for each job. Physical Demands Spending the majority of time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and using hands and reaching. Frequent lifting of 25–50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Work Environment May be exposed to variable weather conditions, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and use of various hand tools and hardware.
