Registered Nurse - Travel Position

Schedule

This position involves 4 × 10 hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours. The shift schedule includes 10-hour day shifts with on-call requirements and weekend and holiday coverage every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating professionalism and clinical expertise in accordance with established protocols. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to various patient needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a variety of healthcare settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required, with acceptance of medical or religious declinations.
• Experience in the relevant clinical area preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position, with the opportunity for extensions based on performance and needs.
