Job Description A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to provide therapeutic care and assistance to patients, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery processes. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and assist in improving patients' daily living skills. Responsibilities Assist patients in therapeutic activities and exercises as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Support patients in performing daily living activities to promote independence and well-being. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Document patient care and maintain accurate records as required. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid state license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience in a rehabilitation or long‑term care setting is preferred.
