SR. IT Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to analyze business needs and support the planning, design, enhancement, testing, and implementation of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for business operations, translate stakeholder needs into detailed requirements, support application maintenance and enhancements, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate stakeholder requirements into detailed business and system requirements .

• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business applications and operational processes.

• Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, functional documentation, and system documentation.

• Coordinate application maintenance, production support, and enhancement activities.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, application development teams, legal/operations teams, and third-party vendors.

• Develop and execute test plans , prepare test data, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .

• Support application enhancement projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Assist business teams with user training materials, screenshots, process documentation, and guidance.

• Analyze and fulfill business and data requests.

• Participate in requirements gathering, solution evaluation, testing, implementation, and post-implementation activities.

• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project deliverables.

• Identify business and application issues and provide analytical recommendations.

• Use data analysis and logical reasoning to evaluate business processes and application functionality.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in IT Business Analysis, requirements gathering, and IT project support .

• Experience writing detailed business requirements and system documentation .

• Strong analytical, logical, and detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to independently analyze complex business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong English grammar, writing, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting application enhancements, testing, and production activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant business analysis / IT experience preferred.

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, Balsamiq, Azure DevOps, and SQL scripting preferred.

• Experience working with enterprise applications and third-party vendors.

• Experience creating user training materials and application documentation.
