About Taylor Hospital A Magnet-designated hospital that has been a recognized health care leader since 1977. It offers specialty services that include 24‑hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full‑service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography). Job Summary This RN Supervisor supports the nursing resource pool at Taylor Hospital, providing an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of staff from RNs, NAs, and Sitters within different units throughout the hospital. Scope of Work Coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet patient care functions of the organization in a cost‑effective manner. Collaborates to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and assure timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. Represents organizational leadership across all venues on a 24‑hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) – required. Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) – preferred. Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience – required. One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience (for external applicants) – required. One year of relevant informal leadership experience (for internal applicants) – required; may include Charge Lead Nurse, Charge Nurse responsibilities, leadership on behalf of unit/site/system at Shared Governance Council. Registered Nurse (RN) – required. AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) – required. Work Schedule Part‑time. Shift: Day (United States of America). Weekly scheduled hours: 28. Hours of work: 3:00p.m. – 11:30p.m. Days worked: 6 days per pay period (2×12 and 4×8). Weekend frequency: Every other weekend. Location Taylor Hospital –10000TelegraphRd –Taylor.
