Why This Role Stands Out Systemwide leadership of EMS operations across multiple EMS service lines Oversight of both emergency and non-emergency transport services Strategic influence on community health initiatives and mobile integrated health Strong partnership with EMS Medical Director and health system leadership Opportunity to modernize operations, technology, and care delivery models Direct impact on community safety, access to care, and patient experience What You’ll Do Lead all EMS operations, including Boone County EMS, Witham Medical Transport, and Mobile Integrated Health Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance across all service lines Drive a culture of safety, clinical excellence, and accountability Oversee staffing, workforce development, and leadership pipeline growth Manage financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency Partner closely with the EMS Medical Director to ensure high-quality clinical care Strengthen relationships with community partners, public safety agencies, and healthcare stakeholders Lead strategic initiatives, including service expansion, innovation, and process improvement Maintain and oversee the organization’s Emergency Operations Plan and readiness efforts What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a confident, forward-thinking leader who thrives in a high-demand, mission-critical environment and is passionate about advancing EMS delivery.
