Position Overview:
IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Officer to oversee security operations for a child care facility near Waymart, PA. The ideal candidate will be able to de-escalate and problem solve with great communication skills. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control . The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
We are looking for someone who is responsible - happy to offer time off but need to know 2 weeks in advance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor access control points
Conduct regular patrols of the entertainment property
Perform occasional hourly patrols as needed
Write clear incident and daily activity reports
Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately
Requirements:
2+ years security experience required
- ACT 235 Required
Valid driver's license
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Reliable means of transportation
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong de-escalation capabilities without need to get physical
Compensation & Benefits:
$28-30/hour
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours

Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
