Safety Supervisor / Safety Manager (Mold Abatement & Restoration) Location: Crescent City, CA
Duration: 3-6 Week Project Assignment
Pay: Up to $35/hour DOE + Per Diem + Housing Provided
Schedule: Full-Time with Significant Overtime Available We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor/Safety Manager to support a mold abatement and restoration project in Crescent City, California. This is a hands-on field role requiring strong safety leadership, extensive mold remediation experience, and the ability to work effectively with project teams. The project is located in a remote area along Northern California's coast, surrounded by state and national forests. Housing is provided, and transportation assistance is available.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong field presence and promote a positive safety culture
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and daily safety meetings
- Monitor mold remediation and containment activities
- Ensure proper PPE, respiratory protection, and safe work practices
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and investigate incidents when needed
- Document observations, corrective actions, and compliance activities
- Partner with operations and project leadership to support safe and productive work
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and field personnel
- OSHA 30 or Cal/OSHA certification required
- Experience as a Safety Manager, Safety Supervisor, EHS Manager, or similar role
- Extensive experience supporting mold abatement, remediation, or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of hazard identification, PPE, respiratory protection, and exposure controls
- Experience leading toolbox talks, inspections, and incident investigations
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Professional, calm demeanor with the ability to manage challenging client interactions
- Competitive pay up to $35/hour based on experience
