We are seeking a Chief Engineer to lead our resort maintenance and engineering operations. Main Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of highly motivated Technicians.
• Completes property repairs and manages capital projects with company guidelines.
• Guides and grows team members for future career opportunities.
• Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department, and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations
• Ensure that the property's Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies, and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply. Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are properly locked and secured.
• Manages relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with the operation's business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner.
• Able to lead and manage projects including renovations and similar capital and operations projects around resort as well as with a General Contractor.
• Performs other related activities as required.

The salary rate for this role is between $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 yearly based on experience, plus annual bonus. Relocation Assistance is available for qualified candidates.


Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 3-5+Years of engineering experience.
• 3-5+Years of managerial in the same or similar environment.
• Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
• EPA, OSHA 10/30, and CPO certifications are preferred. Candidates who do not currently possess all required certifications may be considered and will be expected to obtain any missing certifications within a reasonable timeframe following hire.
