Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading products into and out of various trucks and trailers using a forklift. The role includes completing shipping and receiving paperwork, checking shipments in and out, performing monthly inventory counts, handling case goods, and maintaining a clean and organized yard. The position also requires daily forklift inspections, adherence to all safety procedures, and completion of additional duties assigned by management or team leaders.

Qualifications

Fluent in verbal and written English
Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
Good communication skills
Knowledge of forklift operations and safe material handling practices
Ability to safely perform lifting up to 70 lbs on a routine basis
Comfortable with standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods
Ability to safely operate equipment in varying weather and yard conditions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
