Diesel Technician Position
Mangino Chevrolet is searching for skilled and motivated individuals to join our team. We provide a full range of General Motor's special tools, an air-conditioned garage, paid training, a wide selection of benefits, rotating weekends off, and many opportunities to advance your automotive career!
Responsibilities
- Inspecting and repairing vehicles with diesel engines
- Running diagnostic tests
- Handling routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
- Interpreting diagnostic test results
- Writing detailed inspection reports and repair plans
- Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testing equipment
- Cleaning or performing maintenance work
- Operating and inspecting mechanical equipment to diagnose defects
Qualifications
- General Motors & Diesel Engine Repair knowledge
- Possesses own toolbox and tools
- Valid Drivers License
- NYS Inspection License

Pay
- $30-$40 an hour dependent on experience
- Performance incentive pay structure
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 7:30 to 6:00 pm
- Rotating Saturday - number of Saturdays are dependent upon staffing and business need
