DISCO Corporation’s U.S affiliate, DISCO Hi-Tec America, Inc. (DHA), is looking for a General Accountant to join the expanding Accounting Team in our San Jose office. Title: General Accountant Location: San Jose, CA (On-Site) US Work Authorization required: this position does not provide Visa support This is a full-time position with benefits including Bonuses, Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), Health Savings Account, 401(k) program, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays. Essential Job Functions: Oversee and support Accounts Payable team, support hands-on with processing high volume vendor invoices Responsible for various DISCO America general accounting processes, which can include, but are not limited to: Handle daily ledgers and journal entries Process, prepare, and analyze monthly and year end closing, prepare and participate in internal and external audits Assist with DISCO internal managerial accounting tasks (WILL) Prepare financial statements and tax return filing Assist Accounting Team Lead with preparing and analyzing financial reports for HQ in Japan Use Excel to analyze and report financial figures upon request Participate, contribute, and handle various DISCO corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement Perform other duties as assigned as a member of the Operations department Qualifications: Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills Flexible, open minded, and committed to continuous improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
