Olson Construction & Remodeling is seeking a skilled Finish Trim Carpenter to join our growing team. This position focuses on high-quality finish carpentry work in residential remodeling, additions, and custom home projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently while maintaining a professional attitude on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install interior trim including:
• • Baseboard
  • Casing
  • Crown molding
  • Shiplap/accent walls
  • Interior doors
  • Window trim
  • Stair components
  • Custom millwork
• Install cabinets, hardware, shelving, and built-ins when needed
• Read and interpret plans, layouts, and finish details
• Perform punch list and final detail work on projects
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and at a high quality standard

Qualifications

• Experience in finish carpentry and residential remodeling
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to operate finish carpentry tools and equipment safely
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Experience

• 10 Year min. Experience in finish carpentry
• Cabinet installation experience
• Experience working in occupied homes
• Ability to problem solve and work through field conditions
• Basic framing knowledge
