About the job:
As a Machinist 3, you'll bring your advanced CNC machining skills to a team that values quality and innovation. You'll play a key role in optimizing setups, collaborating with engineering teams, and maintaining high standards of production.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a high school diploma or GED; post-secondary CNC education preferred
• Has 8+ years of CNC machine operation experience
• Is fluent in G & M code and able to edit programs
• Can read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with high proficiency
• Understands machine programming, setup, and operation
• Is skilled with precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Has a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Can troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues

What you'll do:

• Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Collaborate with engineering and CAM programming teams to develop and improve CNC programs
• Design and fabricate fixtures for parts of varying complexity
• Advise supervisor and programming team on technical advancements to enhance production
• Operate CNC machines for production runs
• Maintain quality standards by adhering to the Quality Management System
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and staff
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
