Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: $28-$36/hr DOE
As a Machinist 3, you'll bring your advanced CNC machining skills to a team that values quality and innovation. You'll play a key role in optimizing setups, collaborating with engineering teams, and maintaining high standards of production. We're looking for someone who:
- Has a high school diploma or GED; post-secondary CNC education preferred
- Has 8+ years of CNC machine operation experience
- Is fluent in G & M code and able to edit programs
- Can read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with high proficiency
- Understands machine programming, setup, and operation
- Is skilled with precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Has a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Can troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues
- Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Collaborate with engineering and CAM programming teams to develop and improve CNC programs
- Design and fabricate fixtures for parts of varying complexity
- Advise supervisor and programming team on technical advancements to enhance production
- Operate CNC machines for production runs
- Maintain quality standards by adhering to the Quality Management System
- Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and staff
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
