Overview Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel) – Interventional Radiology Tech, Westwood, NJ. Start date: 09/15/2026 for weeks in a hospital travel assignment on a 5x8 Days shift. Weekly pay range: $2,849–$2,950. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. This position requires IR experience on a Siemens single-plane suite and travel experience. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,849–$2,950 per week Shift: 5x8 Days Start date: 09/15/2026 Duration: weeks Setting: hospital travel assignment Onboarding: core items and labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures using a Siemens single-plane suite, including fluoroscopy and angiography Independently run procedures such as embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal, and central venous access/port placement Utilize ultrasound guidance and vascular closure devices; maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety Prepare, set up, and maintain IR equipment; coordinate with radiologists and staff; document findings in the Epic charting system Monitor patient status during procedures and assist with post-procedure care and recovery as needed Requirements Active ARRT (R) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal Siemens single-plane IR experience required; travel experience is required 5 years of IR experience preferred Core IR competencies: fluoroscopy, angiography (upper/lower extremities), embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal, central venous access/port placement, vascular closure systems, ultrasound, PACS, sterile technique Ability to work in a hospital IR setting and independently run cases Benefits and Support Fast onboarding: core items and labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Epic charting for documentation and case management Ongoing clinical collaboration with IR team and staff About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
