Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | On-call required one weekday per week (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every fourth weekend (Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care for primarily outpatient cases with some inpatient procedures
• Support a variety of surgical specialties including OB/GYN (including C-sections), orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and endoscopy
• Recover patients after hours utilizing PACU nursing skills and competencies
• Fulfill on-call obligations on a rotating weekday and weekend schedule
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS – Basic Life Support Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (AHA)
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (AHA)
• PACU experience required for after-hours patient recovery
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification (required upon contract renewal; facility provides training)
