Team Leader - Ballyhackamore

Overview £14.63 per hour, full‑time 42.5 hours per week for the Team Leader role at EUROSPAR Ballyhackamore (276 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast, Down, BT4 3EU). Coverage is required across morning, evening and weekend shifts within the hours of 6:00am to midnight, Monday to Sunday, with flexibility expected. Responsibilities Lead the store team in line with store policies, standards and practices, working closely with the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager. Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (including key holder duties). Act as a positive role model, representing the values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity. Train, manage workload and support the team, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to deliver the best customer experience. Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities. Promote and participate in local community initiatives with the store team. Cover the Post Office when required as part of the role. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Previous store retail experience with at least 6 months at a supervisory level, leading a customer‑focused team. Excellent listening, interaction and communication skills with customers and team members. Target‑driven, focused on achieving business plans and continuous improvement.
