Responsibilities Employ analytical methods to understand insider risk patterns and establish models for forecasting insider risk scenarios.Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover anomalous behavior and potential threats.Triage and investigate alerts from tools such as SIEM, DLP, UEBA, and EDR, escalating when appropriate.Support real-time response efforts by participating in incident handling, root cause analysis, and documentation.Collaborate with internal teams to refine and test detection logic, reduce false positives, improve log coverage, and improve detection precision.Maintain and support compliant data flows and automation access to allow for interoperability across various business regions.Document detection logic, investigations, and workflow improvements clearly and concisely.Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and support initiatives involving scripting, code, or ML-based improvements.Work with cross functional teams globally to ensure alignment, collect feedback on automations, and deploy solutions to get cross functional adoption. Qualifications Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics or a related field and 1 year of related work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:Developing and maintaining systems using Star programming language to analyze data patterns and implement automated monitoring solutions;Parsing and analyzing ELF file structures to extract, validate, and process data for security and operational purposes;Programming using Python and SQL;Working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements; andWriting technical documents explaining and detailing code implementation and requirements. Type Full time, 40 hours/weekLocation: New York, NYSalary Range: $156000 - $316800 per year Job Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 - $316800 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
