Senior Litigation Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with active legal cases. This person should be organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple cases, deadlines, documents, and communications at the same time.
What You'll Do-
Help prepare and file legal documents.

Organize and manage case files.

Prepare paperwork for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.

Help with information and document requests between both sides of a case.

Send and track subpoenas and other legal notices.
-
Keep track of important deadlines, court dates, and appointments.
-
Communicate with courts, attorneys, clients, and other parties.
-
Help attorneys prepare cases for hearings, settlements, and trials.
-
Make sure cases continue moving forward without missing important deadlines.

Communicate with clients and answer routine case-related questions.

Work with and guide a legal assistant.
-
Review assigned work to make sure it is accurate and completed on time.

5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.

Strong understanding of California legal procedures.

Experience preparing legal documents and handling court filings.
-
Experience with discovery, subpoenas, depositions, and case preparation.

Very strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
-
Ability to independently handle multiple cases.
-
Good written and verbal communication skills.
-
Previous experience training, mentoring, or supervising legal support staff.

Paralegal certification is a plus.
-
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required .

This is a senior legal support position for someone who already knows how litigation works. You will help attorneys keep their cases organized, prepare paperwork, communicate with different parties, track deadlines, and get cases ready for hearings or trial.
The ideal person can manage cases independently, stay ahead of deadlines, and guide junior legal support staff.
