Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner - ARNP Post Acute Care

The Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner is a licensed employee or independent contractor who performs services delegated by the supervising physician under indirect or direct supervision and who is functioning in a dependent relationship with a supervising physician and who is performing tasks or condition of tasks traditionally performed by the physician. Responsibilities Interview New Patients to obtain all required medical information needed to set up a medical record chart. On established patients, APRN reviews results of test done. Evaluates dynamic of symptomatology. Evaluating the patient’s condition. Performs case histories. Implementing a Plan of treatment, including diagnostic testing. Follow up the condition’s progress and diagnostic studies results. Prescribed medication (If Applicable). Must note the prescription in the appropriate medical record. (If Applicable) Works with the staff to ensure that the medical needs of the patient are met. Acting as a liaison with the Physician. Will be on calls outside of the office of the physician or facility, on the direct order of the physician. Participating in the review of the billing process. Will be under indirect supervision of a physician. Will keep medical records documentation according to the State and Federal regulations and their guidelines. Participating in the preparation of Superbills. He will endeavor to maintain the good name and reputation of the Medical Facility and to promote its best interest. Qualifications The APRN should graduate from an approved program or its equivalent or meet standards approved by the Board of Medicine and the Board of Nursing. Bilingual preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
