Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our outpatient therapy facility in Pasadena, where you will participate in a friendly and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical condition to assess their needs and determine the most effective course of treatment.
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans that incorporate various evidence-based techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities including heat, cold, and ultrasound therapies.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage patients and their families through education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs to promote independence and active participation in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to create an integrated approach to patient care, which includes sharing insights and progress with other healthcare professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients, providing motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they feel supported and empowered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain issues. Each patient presents unique challenges that require a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, allowing you to apply your clinical skills in a meaningful way that directly impacts their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication skills that foster rapport with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Preferred Experience
