  • Manage Quality Control equipment needs, including coordinating preventive maintenance and tracking calibration to ensure inspection tools remain accurate and reliable.
  • Approve and manage timekeeping, attendance, and performance evaluations for direct reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a visible safety leader by enforcing all safety rules and procedures during inspection activities and promoting safe work practices across the team.
  • Lead initial containment actions and participate in root cause discussions for quality issues within the department to support effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform inspection activities as needed to support production flow and cover staffing gaps, ensuring continuity of quality checks and product release.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and shifting priorities.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing quality, safety, and production needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to enforce standards while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and manufacturing systems used for tracking quality, production, and performance.
  • Capability to work safely in a manufacturing setting, including adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE.

  • Experience managing training schedules and versatility matrices for a production or quality team.
  • Experience coordinating preventive maintenance and calibration for quality control equipment.
