Pay Rate
Local: $75 – $80/hr
Traveler: $78 – $82/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology professional to support complex cardiac and IR procedures, including circulating, conscious sedation, patient monitoring, and specialized equipment operation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.

• First-time travelers are not accepted.

• Current ARRT certification.

• Current ACLS certification.

• Current BCLS certification.

• Strong Interventional Radiology experience.

• Conscious sedation experience required.

• Experience circulating during IR procedures.

• Availability for call at least 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a wide range of Interventional Radiology and cardiac procedures.

• Circulate during procedures and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient procedural environment.

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation according to established protocols.

• Operate and assist with specialized IR and cardiac equipment.

• Monitor patients throughout procedures and promptly recognize changes in condition.

• Assist physicians and the multidisciplinary team during complex cardiac and vascular interventions.

• Accurately document procedures, medications, patient assessments, and interventions.

• Maintain and verify appropriate equipment and supplies before procedures.

• Follow radiation safety, infection-control, patient-safety, and facility protocols.

• Participate in the required call schedule, including at least 2 call days per week and every 3rd weekend.
