This role is responsible for sorting, opening, organizing, preparing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail and documents with accuracy and efficiency.The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment that requires accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesMail Sorting and Document PreparationOpen, sort, organize, and prepare incoming mail and documents for processingEnsure accurate identification, categorization, and routing of mail itemsPrepare documents for scanning, imaging, and document management processesSupport outgoing mail preparation, including packaging, labeling, and postageResearch mail and document details as needed to ensure proper handlingScanning and Equipment UseOperate scanners, copiers, mail openers, labeling equipment, and other mailroom toolsSet up equipment, load materials, clear jams, and resolve basic equipment issuesEnsure documents are prepared and processed according to workflow and quality standardsMaintain proper handling of sensitive or time-sensitive documentsOperational SupportPerform data entry and maintain accurate recordsCoordinate with internal teams to support timely and accurate mail and document flowHelp maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work areaFollow company procedures for mail handling, document processing, and quality controlPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAt least 1 year of experience in mailroom, clerical, office support, document processing, or related workExperience with mail sorting, document prep, scanning, imaging, or shipping/receiving is preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsBasic data entry skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsCore CompetenciesMail Sorting and Document PreparationAttention to Detail and AccuracyScanning and Equipment OperationTime Management and ProductivityTeamwork and CommunicationPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 30–50 pounds (e.g., banker's boxes)What We OfferPaid trainingMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (PTO)Career growth opportunities and internal promotion
