The facility performs approximately 15,000 OR cases annually plus 2,000 deliveries and 300 cardiac cases. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required, with OR cases being medically directed and OB CRNAs supervised. The high-volume academic environment includes participation in cardiac cases for some CRNAs and requires call coverage with specific callback percentages.
