Job Scope The Logistics Inventory Specialist role is responsible for overall management of site inventory. Execute warehouse operations regarding health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, and policy compliance. Work collaboratively with key internal and external (third‑party logistics vendors) partners. Manage activities such as inventory management, system interface monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management (returns, credits, unsaleable), and compliance execution (Health, Safety & Environmental, quality, risk management). Key Responsibilities Manage site inventory and maintain compliance to ensure company standards are met. Execute counting processes for cycle counting, ad‑hoc counts, inventory accuracy, reporting, and monitoring. Review and analyze stock inaccuracies, guaranteeing accurate stock alignment between physical inventory and SAP/EWM. Manage the damage process, ensuring proper transaction to the damaged area (donation or liquidation). Facilitate storage and processing of expired or tankage products to ensure write‑off and processing in accordance with finance and internal controls; coordinate with management/finance for approvals and documentation to support system movements/write‑offs. Monitor inbound, outbound, co‑packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf‑life monitoring and manage reduction of write‑offs while seeking productivity improvements. Monitor the EWM queue to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve failed activities/transactions between ECC/EWM. Support the Inventory Pillar by maintaining count accuracy and ensuring all critical inventory questions are addressed. Partner with warehouse and delivery supervisors to evaluate processes and identify productivity improvements. Minimum Education / Experience Required: associate's degree or equivalent experience. Experience in logistics operations, procurement, or supply chain functions required. Functional Competencies Gained in the Role Analytical thinking: interpret data to improve efficiency and reduce costs. System knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBase, ERP, SAP R3, etc. Record keeping and inventory management. Logistics experience or supply chain function in general is an asset. Hours Typically from 8 am to 5 pm; hours may vary based on demand. Salary and Benefits The base salary range is $61,800 to $84,975, depending on experience, skills, education and location. Eligible for a highly competitive bonus program.
