Description:
RN Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float position available.
Ratios are 1:5-6 for days and weekends, 1:6 for nights.
Candidates with 2 years of experience are required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Weekend requirements include every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation obligation.
Certifications required are BCLS and ACLS, along with IV start and telemetry skills.
Successful candidates will float to multiple medical units as needed.
All travelers must float within the service line to meet facility needs.
Workers are asked to call in to receive their unit assignment for each shift.
There are no on-call requirements for this position.
Special training will be provided for lift devices and bladder scanners.
This position involves care for adult and geriatric patient populations.
Daily census will vary between 28 to 50 patients, depending on the specific unit.
Interdisciplinary support available includes various therapy and service teams.
Candidates should have skills in wound care, phlebotomy, and IV management.
No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed during the contract.
Candidates should confirm their shift prior to submittal.
Compliance deadline for submission will be established before the initial start date.
Labs must be completed within specified timeframes after signing.
Modules are required and must be completed prior to starting.
