Warehouse Order Selector Evening Shift

Job Title: Evening Order Picker Responsible for selecting, picking and loading cases at the Fresh Thyme Distribution Center. Operates RF and Voice systems, builds pallets, loads trailers, and ensures accurate and efficient picking while following safety and food‑safety procedures. Summary Work in a warehouse environment handling fresh produce and grocery distribution. Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack as needed. Maintain stable pallet builds and load trailers, report damage, and perform general housekeeping duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Picks the correct items and quantities utilizing Voice‑driven process. Builds and shrink‑wraps a stable pallet. Loads trailers as assigned. Checks and reports damage, shorts, missing or mis‑slotted items, or other quality issues. Follows SOP for labeling, stacking, and putting away inbound receipts. Uses Warehouse Management Systems, RF, Voice‑directed picking; Power Warehouse preferred. Collaborates with management to develop and implement process improvements. Follows all food safety policies and procedures. Performs general housekeeping: sweeping, removing debris. Fixes unstable or uneven pallets on pick and reserve slots. Performs all other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High‑school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift. Prior grocery, produce or wholesale distribution experience preferred. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF technology. Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions. Ability to work overtime, nights, holidays and weekends when necessary. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of grocery, produce, and related departments beneficial. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Potential for prolonged standing, walking, squatting and/or bending in a refrigerated environment. Qualifications Full‑time position. Must be available Saturday and Sunday.
