Part Time Day Shift - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital

Location: 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242

Work Schedule: Part Time Days - (40 hours biweekly) Rotating 10 hour days No weekends, holidays, call or evenings

Job Overview: This position contributes to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and documenting objective and subjective data. This position also participates in the development of the Nursing component of the plan of care at the direction of an RN, physician, dentist, podiatrist, or optometrist, and implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice set forth in the Nurse Practice Act. Contributes to the evaluation of client responses to nursing care and documents in an accurate and timely manner.

Job Requirements: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Nursing Practical Nursing licensure required NAPNES certification-if graduated prior to 1988 Minimum of 1-2 years of wound care experience is required Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Basic knowledge of the Biological, Physical, Behavioral, Social, and Nursing sciences

Job Responsibilities: Collects and documents patient data and observations per unit/TriHealth guidelines. Communicates assessment findings and patient needs to the RN and interdisciplinary team. Contributes to development, implementation, and updates of the patient plan of care, including discharge planning. Provides safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care while maintaining dignity and rights. Prioritizes workload and recognizes changes in patient condition, initiating emergency measures as needed. Implements and documents nursing interventions based on clinical data, standards of care, and patient outcomes. Performs technical skills, administers medications within scope, and uses equipment safely per policy. Accurately interprets and executes physician orders and maintains unit competency requirements. Evaluates and communicates patient response to care in a timely manner. Promotes professional growth, supports process improvement, and maintains effective interdisciplinary relationships.
