Job Responsibilities What You Can Expect

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and help maintain the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a recognized allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Attain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of hire.
• Keep certification current throughout the duration of employment.
