Registered Nurse - SCU/IMC
Location: Damariscotta, Maine
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM (with potential additional shifts from 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM)
Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in SCU/IMC to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators, providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in the SCU/IMC setting
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Manage ventilators and vasoactive drips as per protocol
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records utilizing EMR (EPIC)
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must possess a valid RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU/SCU settings
- Experience handling specialized equipment such as ventilators and plumb pumps
- Ability to float occasionally to MSE as needed
