Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients in an inpatient setting
- Conduct thorough assessments and document findings; monitor patient status and respond to changes
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse reactions and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and support staff; communicate clearly with patients and families
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality; adhere to state standards and facility policies
- Document care processes accurately in electronic records and participate in quality/safety initiatives

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Maine
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification (or equivalent)
- Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to function independently and to act quickly in emergencies
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and professional communication
