Solar Site Superintendent

The Site Superintendent is responsible for daily on‑site coordination of a 7MW solar photovoltaic construction project, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. This role leads field operations, oversees subcontractors and crews, manages project documentation via Procore, and ensures a strong culture of safety and accountability on‑site. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on a solar PV site (ground mount installation) Lead daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings Coordinate union labor crews, subcontractors, and vendors on site Monitor site safety and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols Track daily work progress and update project status using Procore software Troubleshoot field challenges and elevate as necessary to project management Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, material deliveries, and labor hours Review blueprints and project plans to ensure work is performed to spec Facilitate clear communication between the field and project leadership This position requires frequent overnight travel to project sites, with work assignments typically lasting a week or longer based on project need.
