POSITION SUMMARY
- Perform HR support functions, including the support of recruiting, onboarding & orientation, employee engagement, Internship program, exit process, performance review program, HR metrics and HRIS.
- Provide first line customer service to internal and external applicants; responds to employee HR inquiries and requests via Agtegra's HelpDesk.
- Leads the full cycle recruitment process for various positions throughout the organization: create job descriptions, utilize the applicant tracking system to post positions, review and interview applicants, work with hiring managers on process, complete offer letter and pre-hire process, initiate and review background check and pre-employment drug screening, assist wtith onboarding new hires.
- Assist with HR projects and programs, including but not limited to employee referral program, employee recognition programs (service milestones and service awards), and new hire orientation.
- Administer and support the performance review program and system. Troubleshoot issues, create reports and communications for managers and employees.
- Maintain all records and employee information (applicant tracking, new hire to termination) in the HRIS system. Runs metrics and analytics on employee data.
- Responsible for record keeping and report preparation: recruitment and selection processes; prepares and maintains required documentation; updates job descriptions; processes invoices.
- Coordinate the random drug testing program.
- Conduct onboarding and exit processes to ensure smooth transition for new employees and provides feedback for organizational development.
- Assist front desk coverage as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to support business objectives and department goals.
- Human Resources: Knowledge of human resources processes and practices.
- Time Management: Ability to perform detailed work accurately and independently in compliance with stringent time limits with minimal direction and supervision; ability to organize, assign, and modify the work of self/others, and (re)-establish priorities to meet deadlines.
- Technology: Knowledge of current office practices and procedures and knowledge of standard office equipment and software; knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications consistent for this position; proficient in Microsoft office (M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet; proficient in HR systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively in English in written and verbal form; provide strong customer service in a timely manner; ability to communicate detailed and often sensitive information effectively and concisely; ability to policies, procedures, written instructions, general correspondence, and other department specific documents; ability to make formal presentations on a variety of work-related topics.
- Research & Analysis: Skilled in researching and understanding complex written materials and policies; ability to prepare and maintain accurate and concise records and reports; ability to apply sound judgment and discretion in performing duties, resolve problems and recommending solutions, conduct best practice research and recommendations.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain professionalism; ability to professionally represent the organization and the brand in internal and external environments.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with individuals; ability to handle sensitive interpersonal situations calmly and tactfully.
- Maintains Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with all documentation and conversations.
- Accountable & Reliable: Ability to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years of related office and/or HR experience or combination of comparable education and experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- English proficiency.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with human resources recruitment, performance management, recognition programs preferred.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) database maintenance preferred.
- This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, frequently requires standing, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling and reaching with hands and arms.
- Work has standard vision requirements.
- Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.
- Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data and observing general surroundings and activities.
- Work is generally in a moderately noisy office setting (e.g. business office, light traffic).
