Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery Trained UrologistThe Department of Urology at the University of Michigan seeks a Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery (GURS) trained urologist to join a growing academic Men's Health and Reconstruction Division. This is a Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor appointment on the Clinical Track.This 0.8 cFTE faculty position will have a primary clinical focus on complex genitourinary reconstruction. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-volume, academically oriented reconstructive urology practice within a leading academic medical center.Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:Urethral ReconstructionPenile Reconstruction and surgical management of Peyronie's DiseaseSurgical Management of Erectile DysfunctionSurgical Management of Male Stress Urinary IncontinenceSurgical management of Buried PenisComplex reconstructive procedures including skin graftRobotic and open ureteral and bladder reconstructionLongitudinal care of patients with prior reconstructive surgery or adverse outcomesFaculty are also expected to participate in departmental clinical conferences, educational activities, and multidisciplinary collaboration as appropriate.Required qualifications include:M.D. or equivalent degreeCompletion of an ACGME-accredited urology residencyCompletion of a Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery (GURS) fellowshipBoard-certified or board-eligible in UrologyEligibility for medical licensure in the State of MichiganDemonstrated excellence in clinical careCommitment to academic medicine, teaching, and program developmentPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
