General Information:

• Number of Beds: 14-22
• Number of Staff: Dependent on acuity and census
• Type of Staff: Day Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free, unit secretary, Night Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free
• Patient Ratios: med/surg 4/1
• Type of Equipment: EMR - meditech

• List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): Cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, Seizure management, noninvasive cardiology only, no neurosurgery or stroke, no removal foreign body from airway
• Currently have services for neuro, ortho, gen surg, thoracic cases such as thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, pectus bar implants.
• Best Personality Fit: Supportive and collaborative. Full team environment, everyone helps everyone
• Required Certifications: Bls, pals
• Floating Area(s): NICU level 1 or 2 only
• Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue
• Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Weekends and On call(if any): 4 weekend days every 4 weeks. No call
