Registered Nurse - ICU - Neuro

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will possess neuro-specific clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, care procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active CA RN license with uploaded Nursys verification within the past two weeks.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including at least 1 year in Neuro ICU.
  
  
• 
  Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS; NIH Stroke Certification or Neuro-specific training preferred.
  
  
• 
  Neuro ICU experience reflected on application and in the Epic system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float to ED, Step Down, or Central Monitoring units when required.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
