Facility: East Cooper Medical Center Location: Mount Pleasant, SC Department: Operating Room Position Type: Seasonal Resource Team- 12 week contract Work Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts - Days What You'll Do Position Summary Under the supervision of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, effective, and patient-centered care to a diverse population ranging from infant to geriatric. This role is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to providing quality care. Key responsibilities include: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to meet unit and hospital goals Providing care in alignment with clinical standards and departmental guidelines Willingness to float to other comparable nursing units, as needed What We're Looking For Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina Current BCLS certification Completion of nursing service orientation program Attendance at IV Therapy training or demonstration of IV competency within one year Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of all required competencies Ability to assume the Charge Nurse role when needed Maintains department-specific certifications and competencies Previous hospital experience Advanced certification in specialty area Membership in a professional nursing organization Why Choose Novant Health?
