CDL Class A Truck/Lowboy Driver- IN

Position CDL Class A Truck/Lowboy Driver - IN Location Indianapolis, IN Job Summary The Class A Truck/Lowboy Driver is a highly motivated and experienced driver that is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, and is willing to work as a team. Must have experience with manual transmissions, double axels and longer trailers as well as experience in off-road driving and rough terrains. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking with Supervisors, coworkers and customers. Duties & Responsibilities Safely transports heavy machinery, oversized loads, and specialized equipment using a lowboy trailer Obeys all local, State, Federal and IDOT regulations Inspects truck and equipment before leaving and after arriving at locations Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections Follow all Homer Tree Service Procedures and Safety Standards Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Maintain a clean truck, equipment or machinery Assist in loading and unloading of materials Transport materials from place of origin to assigned destination Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Effective Communication with supervisors and coworkers Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Crew Leader Qualifications & Benefits Must hold a valid Illinois Class-A CDL with air brake endorsement.
