Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated ED Technician for a contract position in the Emergency Department of our healthcare facility in Springfield, VT. Please note that COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for this position. The booster must also be administered and in hand before the start of the assignment, and you will be required to submit proof of your vaccination status along with your CV. The client does not accept declinations or exemptions.

In addition, any requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. Please be aware that requests for time off made after your submission will not be approved. If you need time off, you will be responsible for finding your own coverage from available staff, with approval from the Manager, after the assignment has started. Keep in mind that no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and fewer days are preferable. You must also be willing to work holidays, including weekends before (if needed/scheduled), and requests for time off during these holidays will not be approved.

Submission Requirements:

Experience Needed:

• 2+ years of CURRENT experience in the field is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience in a small critical access facility is also preferred.

• Work History/Resume
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to the position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, national certification - Facility will not pend certs)

Certification Requirements:

• BLS (AHA)
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
