About this role:

\n

As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide obstetric and gynecology care in the clinic , act as attending provider for deliveries in the hospital, first assist in the OR, and conduct postpartum inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Location : Womens Health Specialists, St. George, UT

\n

\n

Team Structure : Join a newly established midwifery division alongside three other experienced CNMs

\n

\n

Community Demand : Immediate opportunity to build a robust patient panelstrong local need for midwifery and gynecology services

\n

\n

Practice Model : A unique blend of established infrastructure and fresh opportunitystep into a respected clinic in a new capacity

\n

\n

Support System : Manage your own panel with collaborative support from three OB/GYN physicians and an inpatient OB hospitalist team

\n

\n

Clinic Schedule : OpenMonday through Friday rotating to accommodate call coverage

\n

\n

Call Coverage : On-call approximately one fourth of every month, mixed weekdays and weekends, during which youll manage deliveries for your team

\n

What youll bring:

• CNM degree from an accredited program
\n
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
\n
• At least 3 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife new grads will not be accepted
\n
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
\n
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
\n
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
\n
• We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
