Position Overview - Installation Technician
We are seeking an Installation Technician to join our team in Caldwell, ID. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy hands-on fabrication work, and are looking for long-term growth opportunities within a global manufacturing organization.

This role requires approximately 75% travel, typically on a two-week rotation, supporting on-site fabrication and installation projects across customer locations.

As an Installation Technician, you will work with stainless steel equipment used in the food processing industry, contributing to high-quality custom builds and installations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding, grinding, and stainless steel fabrication activities
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Plan and organize fabrication work efficiently and accurately
• Cut, roll, shape, bend, and assemble metal components
• Modify parts and assemblies to meet precise specifications
• Finish equipment by cleaning and polishing surfaces
• Assist with on-site installation and troubleshooting at customer locations
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of welding or fabrication experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and apply blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience with standard metalworking equipment (Oxy-acetylene, Plasma cutting, Iron worker, Drill press, Press brake, Shear)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules
• Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures

Preferred (not required):

• Lean manufacturing experience
• Food processing industry experience

Travel & Work Environment:
This Field Installation Technician role includes significant travel to support installations and fabrication at customer sites. Travel accommodations include:
