Care Coordinator (Remote) – Patient Support / Patient Access | $20/hr | CST Hours

Title: Care Coordinator (Remote) – Patient Support / Patient Access
Location: Remote (U.S. residents)
Schedule: Any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM CST . Training is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST for the first 4–6 weeks ; virtual attendance required.
Pay: $20/hour

Summary
Now hiring a Care Coordinator for a high-volume, patient-focused support program. This Care Coordinator role is ideal for strong communicators who can multitask, type quickly, and document accurately while on the phone. As a Care Coordinator, you’ll help patients and provider offices through the referral and application process, provide clear status updates, and keep cases moving forward using CRM and call center tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and complete accurate referrals and applications in a CRM/customer relationship management system
• Answer patient questions about status, next steps, and required information with empathy and professionalism
• Document detailed, accurate notes in proprietary software while actively speaking on calls
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups, confirmations, and missing information
• Communicate with referral sources (provider offices/healthcare staff) to process new applicants
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance with policies and privacy expectations
• Meet productivity and quality metrics in a structured call center environment
• Use Microsoft Office and video tools (Teams/Zoom) as required by leadership

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
• 2–4 years customer service/call center or other customer-facing experience preferred
• Typing 40 WPM minimum; strong real-time documentation and attention to detail
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems (CRM, call queues, documentation tools)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; patient-first approach
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow set schedules during training
• Remote work requirements: dedicated quiet workspace + hardwired broadband internet (no Wi‐ Fi/cellular/satellite). Minimum 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload / 30ms ping
