Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-14:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ASCP or equivalent Must-Have: Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Phlebotomy Description: 225 bed specialty care hospital with various medical services. Various specialties include Heart & Vascular, Cancer, Brain & Spine, and more. Facility provides regional imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Largest community in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Local candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility for consideration. Attendance procedures are strictly enforced. A formal warning will be issued upon a second absence. Termination of contract may occur after a third absence unless otherwise agreed. All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours. The facility will not cover early termination fees due to attendance or conduct violations. Experience with specific laboratory equipment such as Sysmex Xn, Vitros 5600 Chemistry, and Siemens CS5100 for Coagulation is required. Candidates should have an Associate's degree and dress in scrubs of any color. Housing recommendations are available upon request.
